DARS, a Data Loss Prevention product, is a tool for data at rest protection, data classification and search for Enterprises and SMB organizations.

GTB DARS can scan every location on the network, including Windows and UNIX file-shares and SharePoint servers. Confidential data is discovered with the same precision and performance of the GTB Inspector.

Setting can made to scan specific Drives, Directories including filters for file type. This is particularly useful for speeding up the scan for very large Data Stores.

GTB DARS reports detailed information for each violating file, including location, actual content, context, file owner, file name, last accessed/modified time, policy violation and more.  Scan results may then be sent to specific file owners to take action.

Enterprise wide scans can be performed on demand or on a batch schedule for continuous compliance
